MEET MY HUSBAND

Daniel McGeen, the love of my life, King of my heart, and my best friend. I don't normally sing his praises to any but my family, because all you single girls out there are going to wish you had found him first. Well, I am the most fortunate girl in the world that he chose me to spend his life with.

Who He Is...

He is rugged and sensitive, smart and gentle, funny and kind, dashing and generous to a fault.

We met while I was working at an apartment complex that he had just moved in to. I found him to be interesting, good company, and very attractive. But I shied away from taking things further. He felt differently. He pursued me and won my heart.

His persistence impressed me. He is basically a shy person, so I figured I must have really sparked something in him. It was just a matter of introspection for me to give in to the spark he started in me...

We bought a home together in Mason, and I began planning our wedding. After several months, he let me know that he would rather get married sooner than wait for a big production. So we went to the courthouse.

That's what kind of a man he is: he knows what he wants. He communicates it. He inspires me. I would do anything for him, and I feel completely safe and secure in his arms.

Us On Our Wedding Day

Us On Our Wedding Day

We were married by a magistrate in town, who throughly enjoyed the show. Family joined us and afterward we took photos in front of our new home. It was the happiest day of my life. I love to see him smile.

Some of His Favorite Pasttimes

Dan feels a deep spiritual connection to the culture of the Anasazi. He soaks up any information he can about the topic. He is a naturalist at heart, with a healthy concern and respect for all living things. Some of his interests include WWII airplanes, steam engines, model building, HO scale trains, GI Joe and Japanese anime.

Daddy's Little Girl

Under The Pine Trees With Dakota

He looks so natural in our yard with his shadow, Dakota. Dan loves everything nature, and is my biggest fan when I coax more gardens from the earth.
